He believes that exposure is a powerful enabler for expanding young creative minds. His vision is to complement traditional learning methods with experiential programmes that go beyond the classroom. The Modern Classroom was created with necessity, creativity, innovation, and passion. The team curates experiential learning environments for students, with an underlying thread of travel that connects all their endeavours. The programmes and tours are designed to ensure definitive learning and an element of fun. Yasin believes the best learning happens when students are exposed to varied people, cultures, histories, societies, languages, and environments. With over 29 years in the travel and tourism industry, Mahaboobulla Khan—also known to us as KK—has worked across geographies, gaining insight from diverse cultures, teams, and ways of working. His journey has taken him through every major vertical—reservations, sales, marketing, administration, and management—shaping a wide-angled, deeply rooted understanding of how the industry truly moves. Over the years, he has built strong relationships across the sector and continues to believe that the most meaningful experiences—whether for students or collaborators—begin with genuine connection. Those who’ve worked with him often speak of his approachable nature, clarity in communication, and the calm assurance he brings into every interaction. What sets KK apart is the spirit he brings to his work. Mr. Anjith Abraham brings nearly 15 years of experience in educational tourism and currently leads operations at The Modern Classroom. He began his professional journey in marketing, gradually moving into operations where he found his stride in managing programmes with care, clarity, and consistency. Anjith is known for his quiet reliability and thoughtful approach. He takes the time to understand what each school and educator needs, and works steadily to ensure every programme runs smoothly—from the first conversation to the final day of the trip. Whether it’s ensuring timelines are met, coordinating with teams on the ground, or responding to last-minute changes, he approaches each challenge with calm and focus. Anjith’s work may happen behind the scenes, but it plays a crucial role in shaping the overall experience and success of every programme. With over 25 years of experience in real estate and customer service, Patricia Evelyn brings a strong foundation in relationship-building, client servicing, and sales to the world of educational travel. Her career has spanned multiple people-facing roles, in which she consistently demonstrated her ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and convert opportunities into lasting partnerships.At The Modern Classroom, Patricia is actively involved in outreach, school partnerships, and guiding institutions toward meaningful learning journeys. She also takes on the role of Tour Director, in which she oversees on-ground execution and ensures each experience runs smoothly and safely. Her entry into the field of educational travel is not just a new chapter—it’s a meaningful extension of her career, combining years of people-centric work with her passion for engaging with children in transformative settings. Her approach combines strategic clarity with narrative depth, rooted in the belief that authentic connection begins with intention and language that respects the audience.Aishwarya’s work in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) has deeply shaped how she approaches communication, with attention to emotional nuance, contextual relevance, and the human behind the message. Having taught English as a Second Language (ESL) across different age groups and learning environments, she’s seen firsthand how clarity, empathy, and narrative can transform engagement.
